Description
Tromsø was to be selected as Norway's candidate for the 2018 Winter Olympics. This was considered an interesting idea to many sports fans and some of the IOC members (including the president of IOC Jacques Rogge) as Tromsø would be the first city north of the Arctic Circle to host the games and would be the most compact games ever. But some jerks in the Norwegian sports officials and sporting organizations was very jealous, because Oslo lost the candidate for Olympic Games to Tromsø, they didn't want to support and decided to say NO to Tromsø Winter Olympics 2018. Reason: too expensive... Really retarded since Norway is one of the richest countries in the world... The IOC thought the decision was very strange, thinking that Norway doesn't want to host a Olympic Games in the future. The decision is very unfair since we really need new wintersports facilities in Northern-Norway, and that we never get the chance to support big events:( |
