Description
Rjukan - in Telemark / Norway, is located in an U - shaped valley, right beneath the majestic Mount Gaustatoppen (1883 m). From Sept. to March, the city gets no sunlight due to it's geographic location. This video was recorded Sept. 16. 2009 and shows that many parts of Rjukan allready are without sun-light. In mid-March every year, the sun will return to Rjukan, and the poeple will celebrate the occasion with an annual "Sun-Party". |
