Description
PS "Skibladner" is the world's oldest paddle steamer in timetabled service, launched in 1856 (56 years before the Titanic). She still plies the waters of Lake Mjøsa in Norway every summer, and is one of the district's leading tourist attractions. She has a triple-expansion steam engine and carries over 200 passengers, with a restaurant and café on board. You can read more about her on www.skibladner.no. |
