Description
A train ride from Oslo to Bergen, Norway in late winter. Our journey will begin in the countryside on the the outskirts of Oslo. We will then climb up high into the Scandinavian Mountains near the village of Finse, elevation 1222m, latitude 60°36′. Here, the scenery is so desolate yet beautiful, it was selected as the setting of the ice planet Hof in the Star Wars movies. Finally, the train descends along the other side of the mountains, passing by several lakes and fjords, before reaching Bergen on the coast. All music for this clip was written and performed by Wardruna, my favourite Norwegian band. The three songs are entitled "Løyndomsriss", "Algir - Stien Klarnar" and "Bjarkan", respectively.
